Christmas

So Christmas was a lot more tiring than I thought it would be. I didn't really do much in the way of running around since I stayed home and didn't travel on Christmas day. My family actually gave out Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. Amber got a new Ipod and speakers. Christian got a X-box 360. Mom got a new fryer. Dad got a sweater and a new suit. George got a signed TobyMac CD, TobyMac shirt, hat, and poster. And I got a case for my nook with a light in it, Inheritance by Christopher Paloni, a certificate of publication for my poem, and a $100 Barnes and Noble gift card.

Christmas day we went to church and after words George and I went to his families house for the day. We opened presents and for the rest of the morning George and I sat on the couch until I fell asleep. I apparently slept for an hour and a half before I woke up to find George had fallen asleep too. That par of the day felt amazing. I can't remember the last time I was so relaxed.

After words we took there dog Mandy for a walk and when we can back we watched home movies from Christmas back in the 1960's. Watching those got me thinking about George's home movies from when he was little. I mentioned it as a passing thought and as a result we ended up watching videos of George when he was a little kid until dinner.

Monday we went on a kind of triple date with my parents and James and Amber. We went to Monical's and then we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. It was very cute.

Tuesday my parents were gone and I didn't have to work so George and I spent about an hour and a half at McDonald's on the computer and talking. Then we went back to his house and watched more home movies for about an hour before his whole family have to leave to run errands so we went to the library where I read and downloaded 2 new books onto my Nook and George played computer games. We stayed there for about 4 hours before we decided to head back to his house (we had gotten a text from his Mom an hour before telling us she was back at the house). We ate dinner at his house and then watched more videos before I had to go home.

Well I think that was enough for this very long post. Oh just so you know George was absolutely adorable when he was little. Just like now.
